RCMP investigating after boy sprays driver with irritant in Middle Sackville

MIDDLE SACKVILLE, N.S. — RCMP are turning to the public for information after a 23-year-old man was assaulted by a youth Friday night in Middle Sackville.  

An RCMP news release said a man driving a red Honda Civic on Rafting Drive near Fringe Drive saw two teenage boys out walking at about 8:35 p.m.  

Police said one of the youths shouted out, approached the car and sprayed the driver with an irritant.  

The 23-year-old Middle Sackville man drove away to get medical assistance at a nearby house. 

The suspect was described to be in his mid-teens and wearing a red hoodie at the time. The second youth, also described as being in his mid-teens, was wearing a black hoodie.
