DNI Tulsi Gabbard fires heads of National Intelligence Council to root out ‘politicization of intel’

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has taken decisive action to root out deep state holdovers and ensure the integrity of intelligence operations. In an exclusive report by Fox News Digital, it was revealed that Gabbard has fired top officials leading the National Intelligence Council, who were allegedly “radically opposed to Trump” and engaged in political bias. Mike Collins and Maria Langan-Riekhof, the acting chair and deputy of the National Intelligence Council, were removed from their positions on Tuesday.
Collins, who has whistleblower complaints against him for undermining the Trump administration, has close ties to former CIA deputy director Michael Morrell. Langan-Riekhof, on the other hand, has been accused of being “radically opposed to Trump” and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the agency.
To prevent any further politicization of intelligence, Gabbard has relocated the National Intelligence Council from the CIA to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. This move aims to hold accountable any improper actions and eliminate deep state leakers within the intelligence community.
In her efforts to restore transparency and accountability, Gabbard has established a new task force within the intelligence community. The Director’s Initiative Group (DIG) is tasked with investigating weaponization, rooting out politicization, and exposing unauthorized disclosures of classified intelligence. Additionally, the task force will work to declassify information that serves the public interest.
Gabbard has also taken a strong stance against leaking classified information, referring three intelligence community professionals to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is currently investigating 12 other officials for alleged leaks, including two CIA detailees who leaked information to the media.
Furthermore, Gabbard has addressed misconduct within the intelligence community, such as employees participating in sexually explicit chatrooms. She is also pushing for the confirmation of essential intelligence nominees to advance the Trump administration’s agenda.
Overall, Gabbard’s actions aim to safeguard national security, uphold the integrity of intelligence operations, and ensure accountability within the intelligence community. With a focus on transparency and eliminating politicization, Gabbard is leading efforts to protect vital intelligence operations from internal threats.
