Dollarama chief financial officer JP Towner will step down in the coming months

MONTREAL – The chief financial officer of Dollarama Inc. will be stepping down from his position in the coming months to pursue another career opportunity.

The company says JP Towner will remain in his role to ensure a smooth transition even as the company reports its second-quarter results.

In a press release on Monday, the company says it has begun a search for Towner’s replacement.

Towner says in the release that he is grateful to have been given the opportunity to serve as CFO of the “Canadian Success Story”.

In March 2021, he became CFO of Dollarama, succeeding Michael Ross.

Dollarama president and CEO Neil Rossy thanked Towner for his contribution to the company in the press release.
