Halifax man charged with sexual exposure to a minor

HALIFAX, NS — A 31-year-old man faces assault charges after allegedly exposing himself at a Halifax thrift store on June 28.

Halifax Regional Police received reports of sexual assault in Value Village at around 4:15 p.m. on June 28 to Chain Lake Dr. 165.

Police said a man sexually assaulted a girl under 16, unknown to him, before fleeing the store.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged with assault and exposure to a person under the age of 16.

The suspect is due to appear in court on August 14.
