Musk renews harsh rebuke of Dems who rejected deporting sex offenders: vote out ‘every one’

Tech billionaire and Trump ally Elon Musk has once again criticized over 150 House Democrats who voted against deporting illegal immigrants convicted of sex offenses. Musk took to his X account to demand that each of these lawmakers be voted out of office, stating that there is no excuse for their actions.
The Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act, which passed the House in September, aimed to deport illegal immigrants convicted of sex crimes. However, 158 Democrats voted against the bill, sparking outrage among conservatives and prompting Musk to call for their removal from Congress.
Musk’s comments have reignited the debate over the legislation, with social media users voicing their support for deporting violent offenders for the safety of women and children. The bill also included provisions to deem illegal immigrants who admitted to domestic violence or sex-related charges inadmissible in the U.S.
Notable Democrats who voted against the legislation include Rep. Jerry Nadler, former California Rep. Adam Schiff, and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Musk’s call for these lawmakers to be voted out of office comes as he prepares to fund moderate Democrat politicians in deep blue districts, in an effort to bring about change in Congress.
In December, Musk also announced plans to lead an upcoming presidential advisory committee, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), alongside Vivek Ramaswamy. The committee aims to cut excessive government spending and reduce the size of the government under President-elect Donald Trump’s second administration.
The Democrats who voted against the legislation have faced criticism for their actions, with conservatives arguing that deporting criminals who prey on women and children is a matter of public safety. The debate over the bill has once again highlighted the contentious issue of immigration reform in the U.S.
Overall, Musk’s comments have sparked a renewed discussion on the need to prioritize public safety and protect victims of violent crimes. The original House vote and Musk’s subsequent statements have underscored the importance of holding lawmakers accountable for their decisions on critical issues like immigration and criminal justice reform.
