3 New Ontario-OINP Draws Invite 840 Applicants For PR: Aug 1

Today, three Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program – OINP draws sent out a total of 840 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency.
755 ITAs have been issued under the general draw of the Masters Graduate Stream to profiles having a score of 48 and above.
84 ITAs are sent under the PhD Graduate Stream in a general draw to applicants with a score of 39 and above.

Only 1 invitation was sent to a profile with a score of 36 and above under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream targeted for Economic Mobility Pathways.

The Masters Graduate Stream is the most popular stream in terms of the number of OINP invitations to apply issued so far in 2023.
Invited profiles in today’s OINP draws will now have 14 days to apply for provincial permanent residency (PR).

3. Ontario’s Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream: 70 – 100 days
4. Masters Graduate Stream: 90 – 120 days
5. PhD Graduate Stream: 90 – 120 days
6. Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream: 90 – 120 days
7. Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream: 90 – 120 days
8. Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream: 90 – 120 days
How much is the OINP allocation for 2023?
Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has increased the OINP allocation for 2023 to 16,500 as compared to only 9,750 in 2022 and 9,000 in 2021.
Officially confirmed by the OINP on March 18, 2023, this quota is expected to double by the year 2025 to more than 18,000.
When will be the next OINP Draw of 2023?
OINP may conduct rounds of invitations directly targeting Express Entry profiles after one of the IRCC draws is announced because it has been seen that they base the higher range of cutoff scores near the CRS cutoff in the latest Express Entry draw.
However, OINP Expression of Interest (EOI) draws are unpredictable since the program conducts draws based on the number of allocations and available profiles in the system.
