31-year-old Westphal man facing multiple sexual assault charges
WAVERLEY, N.S. — Halifax District RCMP have charged a 31-year-old Westphal man following allegations of several sexual assaults over multiple days in November.
Officers received complaints of the assaults just before 5 p.m. this past Friday, when the victim came forward and alleged she had been assaulted multiple times throughout November by a man she had hired to help with her business, run out of her home in Waverley.
Mounties identified and located the suspect around 11 p.m. on Cobequid Road near Glendale Avenue in Lower Sackville and arrested him.
Logan Robert Arnold Coleman appeared in Dartmouth provincial court on Monday and was charged with five counts of sexual assault.
He was held in custody and was scheduled to reappear in court on Tuesday.
