Antigonish County man, 55, dies in head-on crash on Highway 104

A tragic accident occurred near Linwood, Nova Scotia, on Thursday when a car and a tractor-trailer collided, resulting in the death of a 55-year-old man from Antigonish County. The incident took place on Highway 104 at 12:56 p.m. when a westbound car and an eastbound tractor-trailer crashed head-on.
According to RCMP, the driver of the car succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the 59-year-old driver of the tractor-trailer, hailing from Baddeck, sustained minor injuries. The highway had to be closed for several hours following the collision but has since been reopened to traffic.
