With just a little over a month left in office, key members of President Biden’s Cabinet are standing firmly behind their previous statements expressing support for his leadership and affirming their belief that he is still fit for office. Despite a year filled with controversy and debate over Biden’s ability to carry out his term, these officials continue to show their unwavering support.

Fox News Digital reached out to Cabinet officials and their respective departments to inquire if they still believed President Biden was capable of serving and if they stood by their previous statements of confidence in his leadership.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who previously stated his full confidence in President Biden’s ability to carry out his duties, reiterated his support by saying: “I come fully prepared for my meetings with President Biden, knowing his questions will be detail-oriented, probing, and exacting. In our exchanges, the President always draws upon our prior conversations and past events in analyzing the issues and reaching his conclusions.”

Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo also affirmed her support for President Biden, calling him “one of the most accomplished presidents in American history” and praising his steady leadership. She stated, “As someone who is actually in the room when the President meets with the cabinet and foreign leaders, I can tell you he is an incisive and extraordinary leader.”

Deputy Pentagon press secretary Sabrina Singh echoed these sentiments, stating, “Secretary Austin has nothing but total confidence in our Commander-in-Chief,” highlighting President Biden’s commitment to making tough national security decisions and keeping troops safe.

Despite ongoing speculation surrounding Biden’s mental acuity, Cabinet members continue to stand by their previous statements of support. Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra emphasized Biden’s accomplishments as president, stating that he has done more for the country than any other president he has worked with since 1992. Becerra praised Biden for his handling of the pandemic, job creation, and healthcare coverage, affirming that Biden is not only fit for the job but is proving it every day.

As President Biden prepares to finish his term on Jan. 20, Cabinet members maintain their unwavering support for his leadership. Biden himself recently spoke at a DNC holiday celebration, asserting that the country is in a much better position today than when he took office with Vice President Harris. He encouraged staffers to stay engaged in the years ahead and expressed confidence in the future.

In conclusion, despite the challenges and controversies of the past year, President Biden’s Cabinet members continue to show their support and confidence in his ability to lead the country. As the transition to President-elect Trump’s administration approaches, Biden remains focused on leaving the country in a better state than he found it.
