Bill Clinton found in Epstein ‘birthday book’ amid Congress’ surprise file dump

The House Oversight Committee has made public another batch of documents related to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, including a note from former President Bill Clinton in Epstein’s “birthday book.” This document release came after Epstein’s estate handed over materials to House investigators in response to a subpoena.
The “birthday book,” reportedly compiled by Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell for his 50th birthday, contains entries from various individuals, including Clinton, Alan Dershowitz, and President Donald Trump. Both the White House and Trump have denied the authenticity of the entries attributed to him in the book.
Clinton and Epstein had a friendly relationship, with Clinton having flown on Epstein’s plane multiple times. However, neither Clinton nor Trump have been accused of any wrongdoing related to Epstein.
The House Oversight Committee, led by Chairman James Comer, has criticized Democrats for selectively releasing documents that only implicated Trump, while ignoring other information provided by the Epstein Estate. The committee plans to pursue additional records based on the new information received.
The released documents also include details of Epstein’s will, an address book, and information about his non-prosecution agreement in 2007-2008. Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch is scheduled to testify before the committee in a closed-door deposition regarding Epstein.
It is crucial for the Committee to conduct a thorough investigation to bring transparency and accountability for Epstein’s victims and the American public. Democrats must prioritize justice for the survivors over political agendas.
The release of these documents sheds new light on Epstein’s connections and activities, prompting further scrutiny and investigation into his illicit dealings. The truth must be uncovered, and those responsible for any wrongdoing must be held accountable.
