Letsile Tebogo of Botswana won the men’s 200m race on Thursday to deny U.S. sprinter Noah Lyles the Olympic men’s sprint double at Stade de France. Lyles finished third while fellow American Kenneth Bednarek secured silver.

Lyles finished third while fellow American Kenneth Bednarek secured silver.
Usain Bolt accomplished the sprint double at three Olympics in a row — in Beijing in 2008, London in 2012 and Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
Lyles was crowned the “Fastest Man Alive” by edging out Jamaica’s Kishane Thompson by five-thousandths of a second in the the 100-metre champion on Sunday.
