Brett Favre questions details of New Orleans attack, Trump Tower bombing: ‘Hard to see what’s real’

Former NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre recently took to social media to express his confusion and skepticism about the tragic incidents that occurred on New Year’s Day in both New Orleans and Las Vegas. In a post on X, Favre questioned the details surrounding the terror attack in New Orleans that claimed the lives of 14 individuals, as well as the Cybertruck bombing outside Trump Tower in Las Vegas that resulted in one fatality.

Favre’s post read, “What’s going on with the New Orleans and Trump Hotel story? A lot of information and hard to sift through to see what’s real!” This sentiment was echoed by many of Favre’s followers, who shared similar doubts and skepticism about the events.

One user even went as far as to advise Favre and others to “ignore the media,” highlighting the difficulty in discerning the truth amidst the barrage of information and conflicting reports. Despite the confusion, more details have emerged about the two attacks in recent days.

It was revealed that Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the individual responsible for plowing a rented pickup truck into New Year’s revelers on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, and Matthew Livelsberger, the suspect in the Tesla Cybertruck explosion outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, were both Army soldiers who had served at Fort Liberty and deployed to Afghanistan in 2009.

While Las Vegas authorities confirmed that both men had served in Afghanistan in 2009, any potential connections between them were still under investigation. The FBI released surveillance images of the New Orleans attack, showing Jabbar just moments before he carried out the horrific act, which officials believe was inspired by the Islamic State.

Despite initial concerns about possible accomplices, the FBI stated that they are confident Jabbar acted alone in the attack. A black ISIS flag was recovered from Jabbar’s rented pickup truck, further linking him to the terrorist organization. The investigation is ongoing, with the FBI mobilizing resources from across the country to assist in the case.
