Bullets hit house in East Preston

EAST PRESTON, N.S. — Police are turning to the public for help investigating a gunshots incident near a home in East Preston last Saturday morning.
At about 9 a.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a report of shots fired at a home on Highway 7 near Upper Governor Street, where they learned that a 67-year-old man heard gunshots outside at about 8 a.m.
Officers added that they later discovered damage that matches bullet holes on the outside of the house, as well as unfired bullets and empty casings.
Police do not believe that the incident was random..
