Butterfly Ball raises nearly $1 million to support abused children
Children’s advocates, business leaders, politicians and philanthropists all gathered at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto on May 25 to attend the Butterfly Ball. The Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Center’s annual gala raised nearly $1 million in support of abused children — to raise awareness and educate in the hope that one day the need for such an agency will cease to exist. Sangita Patel, of Entertainment Tonight Canada, hosted the event, which included a performance by Juno-nominated singer Francois Klark. H2O Life Style Resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands secured the grand prize of the live auction.
