Canada’s Liberal Party Secures Fourth Consecutive Victory in Federal Election
Canada’s Liberal Party has emerged victorious in the country’s federal election for the fourth consecutive time. The party, led by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, has maintained its stronghold on power.
Following the resignation of former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Mark Carney took the reins of leadership and steered the Liberal Party to another triumph at the polls.
As of the latest update on Monday, the Liberal Party has secured 137 seats in Parliament, surpassing the Conservative Party’s 98 seats. While the Conservatives put up a strong challenge, the Liberals managed to maintain a lead in the race for parliamentary seats.
