Cocaine, $10,000, replica firearms seized during Halifax home search, three arrested

HALIFAX, N.S. — Cocaine, cash and replica firearms were seized by police following the arrest of three people during a drug bust in Halifax on Friday.

Halifax Regional Police say an early-morning search at a home on Cragg Avenue has uncovered cocaine, around $10,000 in cash and a replica firearm.

During the search, police arrested a 41-year-old man and two women, ages 39 and 43.

The three are facing charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession for the purpose of trafficking and failure to comply with conditions of a released order.

The 41-year-old man is facing an additional charge of failing to comply with conditions of a probation order.

All three are scheduled to appear in provincial court at a later date to face charges.
