A Coldplay fan was left stunned when her partner unexpectedly proposed to her during the band’s performance in Hull. Amber Hird Ja had no idea that Nick Bartrupe would get down on one knee in front of Chris Martin and the cheering crowd.

The romantic moment took place on Monday evening, with the audience erupting into applause and cheers as Nick popped the question. “I tried to do it on stage, but I didn’t get his [Chris Martin’s] attention,” admitted Nick. Amber added, “It is a night that I will remember forever.”
