Dak Prescott reacts to Micah Parsons’ Cowboys to Packers trade

The NFL was rocked by the surprising trade of Micah Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers. The move, which came after Parsons requested a trade from the Cowboys, resulted in a record-breaking four-year, $188 million deal for the talented linebacker.
Dak Prescott, Parsons’ former teammate and the highest-paid player in the league, expressed his shock at the trade. “I definitely didn’t think he was going to get traded,” Prescott said. “But just with the way their negotiations went down, obviously to some extent. It seemed like it got personal on their ends, so that’s why I wasn’t surprised.”
Prescott also shared his relief that the tension between Parsons and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had been resolved. “If nothing had been done, we’d sit here and y’all still would’ve been asking me whether he was playing in a couple days or when he was going to be playing,” Prescott said.
While Prescott had confidence that Parsons would eventually get a deal, he was surprised that it happened so quickly. The Cowboys secured the Packers’ next two first-round picks as well as All-Pro defensive tackle Kenny Clark in exchange for Parsons.
As the Cowboys and their fans come to terms with the trade, Prescott and other players have wished Parsons luck in his new team. The Cowboys will face off against Parsons and the Packers this season, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the matchup.
Overall, the trade of Micah Parsons has shaken up the NFL landscape and will be a storyline to watch throughout the season. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
