Dartmouth man, 54, dies in motorcycle accident in Hants County

A 54-year-old Dartmouth man died Saturday after his motorcycle spun off Highway 1 in Hants County.

RCMP said the crash happened at Newport Station around 3 p.m.

The driver, who was the sole driver, died at the scene.

Highway 1 between Wentworth Road and Salmon Hole Dam Road was closed for several hours while a reconstruction expert was on site.
