Dartmouth stabbing sends 14-year-old to hospital, suspect arrested

DARTMOUTH, N.S. — Halifax Regional Police arrested a suspect in connection with a Tuesday afternoon stabbing in Dartmouth that left a 14-year-old with non-life-threatening injuries.

Just after 3 p.m., officers were called to the area of Lucien Drive in Woodlawn in response to a report of an injured person and found the injured teenager.

Less than 30 minutes later, police had a suspect in custody.

Police believe this is not a random incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
