Dionne Warwick, Amanda Marshall among artists at the Canadian National Exhibition
TORONTO – Dionne Warwick and Amanda Marshall are among the musicians who will be visiting the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto this summer.
The bandshell stage at Exhibition Place is the only Canadian stop currently scheduled for Warwick’s tour, which will take her across the United States.
The 82-year-old will headline on August 19, while Canadian pop star Marshall will take the stage on August 23 and is expected to perform new music.
Jann Arden, Winnipeg folk singer William Prince and Canadian chart-topper Brett Kissel will also perform.
On August 25, Kardinal Offishall, Choclair and Haviah Mighty will perform together to celebrate hip-hop’s 50th anniversary.
The CNE runs from August 18 to September 4 and concerts are included in the price of admission.
