Do the right one and view the highest 2 lowest, Spike Lee’s long -awaited reunion with Denzel Washington

Spike Lee’s latest thriller, “Highest 2 Lowest,” is a captivating tale of music industry mogul David King, played by Denzel Washington, who is faced with a moral dilemma. Directed by Lee and written by Alan Fox, the film is based on Akira Kurosawa’s 1963 film “High and Low.”

At the heart of the story is David King, a titan in the music industry known for his impeccable taste. When his son is kidnapped in a case of mistaken identity, David is forced to make a difficult decision – save his friend’s son or protect his fortune.

The first half of the film paints a picture of the sleek, corporate world that David inhabits, with Howard Drossin’s score adding to the tension. However, it is in the second half of the film that “Highest 2 Lowest” truly shines. A thrilling chase scene during the Bronx’s annual Puerto Rican Day Parade injects the film with energy and excitement, showcasing Lee’s love for New York City.

As the film reaches its climax, the confrontation between David and the kidnapper, Yung Felon (played by A $ AP Rocky), is both intense and electrifying. Denzel Washington delivers a powerful performance, solidifying his collaboration with Lee as one of the best in the director’s career.

Overall, “Highest 2 Lowest” is a rollercoaster of emotions, with highs and lows that keep viewers on the edge of their seats. With a stellar cast and Lee’s unique vision, this film is a must-watch for fans of thrilling dramas.
