Don Jr. campaigns in WI for GOP-backed Supreme Court candidate

Donald Trump Jr. headlined a Turning Point Action town hall in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, on Monday, urging voters to support Schimel, the Republican-backed former Wisconsin attorney general. Turning Point Action, a nonprofit focused on electing conservative leaders, launched a “Commit 100” voter turnout operation in Wisconsin to support Schimel’s candidacy.
On the other side, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) announced a coordinated campaign for Crawford, the Democrat-backed candidate for Wisconsin Supreme Court. The DNC said it will host 12 text and phone banks and deploy thousands of volunteers to counter Elon Musk’s influence on the election, with DNC Chair Ken Martin stating that Musk cannot buy the election in Wisconsin.
The race has attracted attention from prominent figures such as Senator Bernie Sanders, who targeted Musk for donating to Schimel’s campaign. Campaign reports reveal that Musk’s Building America’s Future and America PAC have spent millions on Schimel’s campaign, prompting a $2 million donation to Crawford from the Wisconsin Democratic Party, including $1 million from George Soros.
With the balance of power in Wisconsin at stake, conservatives are urging voters to stay vigilant and support Schimel to prevent a potential liberal majority on the Supreme Court. Governor Scott Walker warned that electing Crawford could lead to gerrymandering that would hinder President Trump’s agenda in the state.
