Drone experts rule out US government experiment, unsure of other New Jersey drone phenomenon theories
Drone experts have been left scratching their heads over the mysterious sightings of dozens of drones over New Jersey. Despite ruling out the possibility of a classified government program being behind the sightings, experts are still at a loss as to what these drones could be.
Brett Velicovich, CEO of Expert Drones and a Fox News contributor, stated that the lack of clear images or residual hardware has made it difficult to make any definitive guesses about the origin of the drones. “Until something is found, it’s really difficult to say,” Velicovich said. “We haven’t seen any clear images.”
The sightings of the drones, which have been reported every night from dusk until around 11 p.m., have caused a stir in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. Reports have varied from four to 180 sightings per night, with the drones described as being six feet in diameter and flying in a coordinated manner with their lights off to avoid detection by traditional methods.
Despite public speculation running wild, experts like Velicovich and Stacie Pettyjohn have dismissed the idea that the drones could be part of a classified government test. They emphasized that the protocol for such tests would involve informing local police and conducting them in remote locations to avoid causing public hysteria.
Pettyjohn added that what may have started as a few drones could have now escalated into a public panic, with people mistaking planes for drones or even photographic drones looking to capture images of the phenomenon.
The FBI has stated that many of the reported drone sightings have turned out to be manned aircraft operating lawfully. They have not found any evidence to suggest a national security threat or foreign involvement in the sightings.
Despite various theories circulating, including the idea of an Iranian “mothership” being linked to the drones, experts remain divided on the origin of the mysterious drones. While some suggest that U.S. adversaries could be behind the sightings, others speculate that it may be the work of individuals within the country looking to cause a distraction.
As the mystery of the New Jersey drones continues to perplex both experts and law enforcement, the public is left wondering about the true nature and purpose of these unidentified flying objects.
