The game got off to a controversial start as Eagles defensive end Jalen Carter was ejected for spitting on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott just seconds into the game. Despite the early setback, both teams traded blows in an offensive showcase.

The Cowboys struck first with a touchdown run by Javonte Williams, but the Eagles responded with a scoring drive of their own, capped off by Hurts’ rushing touchdown. The back-and-forth continued throughout the game, with both teams finding success on offense.

The Eagles took the lead just before halftime with a touchdown by Saquon Barkley, showcasing their offensive firepower. The second half saw both defenses step up, but the Eagles managed to hold on to their lead with a field goal by Jake Elliott.

Despite a late push by the Cowboys, the Eagles’ defense stood tall and secured the win. Hurts put up solid numbers, going 19-of-23 for 152 yards passing and adding 63 yards on the ground.
