Early-bird robber gets cigarettes from Dartmouth Irving, clerk uninjured

DARTMOUTH, N.S. — Halifax Regional Police are turning to the public for any information in relation to an early-morning gas station robbery in Dartmouth.

Police were called to the Irving on 10 Highfield Park Dr. just before 4 a.m. Tuesday after reports of a man entering the store and demanding that the worker give him cigarettes. The employee was not injured.

The suspect is described as a white man, standing five-foot-six-inches, with a black goatee and a face tattoo. He was dressed all in black.
