Elon Musk PAC debuts million-dollar Trump ad as DOGE takes government by storm
Elon Musk’s Political Action Committee (PAC) is making waves with a bold move to thank President Donald Trump for his efforts in delivering on key campaign promises. The $1 million ad spot, which is set to air on national airwaves, highlights Trump’s accomplishments in deporting illegal immigrants and “draining the swamp” with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a department that Musk himself leads.
The ad, created by America PAC, features footage of former President Joe Biden’s mishaps, such as tripping on the stairs of Air Force One, juxtaposed with messages of strength and common sense being restored under Trump’s leadership.
In his recent joint address to Congress, Trump reiterated this sentiment, declaring that “America is back.” The ad concludes with a message of gratitude to Trump for “saving the American Dream.”
The 60-second ad is scheduled to run in Washington, D.C., and across the country following Trump’s address to Congress. It is supported by a $1 million television ad buy. The ad showcases Trump’s early accomplishments in office, including the introduction of numerous executive orders and a strong focus on key policy issues.
America PAC, founded by Musk, aims to support candidates who align with conservative values such as fiscal responsibility, secure borders, and freedom of speech. Musk, known for his roles at X, Tesla, and SpaceX, has taken on the additional responsibility of leading DOGE to streamline government operations and cut unnecessary spending.
Despite his efforts to increase efficiency and accountability in government, Musk has faced criticism from Democrats for his aggressive approach. His image was even featured in protests during Trump’s joint address, with signs accusing him of “stealing.”
In her rebuttal to Trump’s speech, Sen. Elissa Slotkin raised concerns about the lack of oversight and protection in Musk’s initiatives, questioning the safety and privacy implications of allowing a small group to have unchecked access to sensitive data.
