A total of 16 invitations were issued, with cut-off scores varying between streams:

| Egg – Regional | 5 | 115 |
British Columbia’s focus on entrepreneurs has been evident throughout the year, with a total of 70 EI candidates receiving invitations to apply for provincial nomination in 2025.
Under the Egg Regional Stream, ITAs are issued monthly to entrepreneurs who have received referrals from participating communities. Draws based on scores will continue periodically for the EI – Basis stream.
Entrepreneur Immigration Streams
The BC PNP’s entrepreneur category is designed for foreign individuals looking to establish or take over a business in British Columbia. Each stream has specific requirements related to net worth, investments, and ownership.
Egg – Basis: For entrepreneurs starting a new venture or acquiring an existing business anywhere in the province.
Egg – Regional: For entrepreneurs interested in starting a new business in smaller participating communities across various regions.
Eligibility for consideration under the EI – Basis stream requires a minimum score of 115 out of 200, while the EI – Regional stream requires a minimum score of 105. Both streams require creating at least one full-time job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
The standard processing time for most applications is approximately four months. Successful nominees can apply for permanent residency in Canada after receiving a nomination certificate from the BC PNP.
