EXCLUSIVE: The pro-life movement’s plan for the second Donald Trump presidency

Pro-life activist groups are already gearing up for former President Donald Trump’s potential second term, according to a memorandum shared exclusively with Fox News Digital by Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA). The memo outlines the group’s plans and priorities for the upcoming administration, emphasizing the need to undo abortion policies instituted by the Biden-Harris administration.
The memo highlights the failure of Democrats’ $570 million abortion advertising campaign, pointing to Trump’s victory as evidence that the American people do not support unrestricted abortion access. Marjorie Dannenfelser, the president of SBA, emphasized the need to reverse the Biden-Harris administration’s abortion policies and push for a “cleansing” of tax funding for abortion.
One of the key priorities outlined in the memo is reinstating the Mexico City Policy, which prohibits the government from funding or promoting abortion internationally. Additionally, the memo calls for clarifying resources available to women who choose not to have an abortion and pushing for a national abortion limit.
Dannenfelser stressed the importance of strengthening the pro-life resolve within the Republican Party and advancing the cultural conversation around protecting unborn life. She pointed to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as a model for effectively engaging in the abortion debate and securing pro-life victories.
Students for Life of America (SFLA) has also developed a plan titled “Make America Pro-Life Again,” focusing on federal and state actions to advance the pro-life agenda. Kristan Hawkins, the president of SFLA, highlighted the importance of appointing pro-life officials to federal agencies, defunding Planned Parenthood, and investigating harmful chemicals used in abortion pills.
Both groups are prepared to advocate for abortion restrictions on the federal level and are closely watching the possibility of a Supreme Court justice retiring or passing away. While neither group disclosed their preferences for a Supreme Court nomination, they emphasized the importance of appointing justices who support the rights of the unborn.
As pro-life activists gear up for potential changes in the upcoming administration, their focus remains on advancing the pro-life agenda and protecting the rights of the unborn. The groundwork has been laid for a renewed push for pro-life victories in the years to come.
