Fetterman calls out ‘UN’s rank, pervasive antisemitism,’ says he looks forward to confirming Elise Stefanik
Sen. John Fetterman Stands Firm in Support of Israel
Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., a strong advocate for Israel, has expressed his enthusiasm for voting to confirm Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.
In a recent statement, Fetterman criticized the UN for perpetuating “rank, pervasive antisemitism.”
The senator dismissed a UN special committee report that accused Israel of actions resembling genocide, calling it unfounded.
Fetterman’s Unwavering Support for Israel
“The UN’s persistent antisemitism is evident. I completely reject this report. I am eager to support @RepStefanik in maintaining a robust pro-Israel stance,” Fetterman tweeted.
President-elect Trump recently nominated Stefanik for the position, praising her ability to uphold policies that prioritize peace and national security.
Fetterman Supports Marco Rubio for Secretary of State
Fetterman also praised Trump’s selection of Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., as Secretary of State, highlighting Rubio’s strong support for Israel. He affirmed his intention to vote in favor of confirming Rubio for the role.
In the aftermath of a horrific Hamas terror attack against Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, Fetterman has been vocal in his unwavering solidarity with the nation.
Fetterman’s Commitment to Israel
“My support for Israel is steadfast and resolute,” Fetterman declared in an earlier statement.
