Democratic Senator John Fetterman Supports Military Action Against Drug Trafficking
Democratic Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania has voiced his support for using military force to combat drug trafficking into the United States.
Fetterman expressed his stance in a recent post on social media platform X, where he stated, “Fully support confronting the scourge of cartel drug trafficking to our nation.”
The senator’s post included a screenshot of a Fox News Digital article titled “Rubio promises more strikes on Venezuelan cartels: ‘We’re not going to sit back anymore.'” This article highlighted Senator Marco Rubio’s commitment to taking action against drug cartels.
President Donald Trump recently announced a military strike against “Narcoterrorists” who were transporting illegal narcotics to the U.S. The strike resulted in the deaths of 11 terrorists.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump emphasized the U.S. military’s commitment to combatting drug trafficking and warned potential offenders to beware.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio has indicated that more strikes against narcoterrorist organizations are likely to occur in the future as part of the administration’s efforts to halt drug trafficking.
Fox News Digital reached out to Senator Fetterman’s office for further comment on his support for the use of lethal military force, but did not receive a response at the time of publication.
