In an exclusive report by Fox News Digital, it has been revealed that eight fighter jets will conduct a flyover when Polish President Karol Nawrocki arrives at the White House on Wednesday morning. This meeting between President Donald Trump and Nawrocki, who was backed by Trump during the Polish elections earlier this year, comes at a crucial time as negotiations between Russia and Ukraine continue to try and end the ongoing conflict.
White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly stated, “President Trump is looking forward to welcoming President Nawrocki to the White House, who recently won a historic election in Poland. The spectacular flyover will honor the memory of a brave Polish fighter pilot whose life was tragically taken too soon and capture the special relationship between our two countries.”
The flyover will include four F-16 fighter jets performing a missing man formation to honor a Polish Army F-16 pilot who tragically died in a crash during an airshow rehearsal in Poland. Additionally, four F-35 fighter jets will also fly over the White House to recognize the strong relationship between the U.S. and Poland, with the U.S. selling F-35 fighter jets to its allies, including Poland.
This visit by Nawrocki comes amidst escalated attacks by Russian President Vladimir Putin against Ukraine, despite recent peace talks with Trump in Alaska. The Trump administration has been working with European allies to secure security guarantees for Ukraine against Russian aggression.
President Trump has expressed that there will be consequences if Putin fails to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. “We’re going to see what happens,” Trump stated. “I want to see it end.”
