First Trades Express Entry Draw For PR Is Now Out: Cutoff 388

Today, IRCC unveiled its first-ever Express Entry draw, targeting profiles having experience in one of the 10 approved Trade occupations.
Profiles with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) of 388 or above received an invitation to apply (ITA) in today’s round of invitations.

What is tie-breaking rule: If multiple candidates have the lowest score, the cut-off is determined by the time and date that their Express Entry profiles were submitted.
To be eligible these profiles need to have at least 6 months of experience in one of the trade occupations, in last 3 years.
However, an overall 1 year experience is still required to meet the general eligibility for any program under the Express Entry system.

Which sectors are being targeted by new Express Entry draws in 2023?
IRCC is conducting new occupation-based Express Entry draws for candidates with at least 6 months of work experience in one of the following industries over the past three years:
1. healthcare
2. science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
3. trades, such as carpenters, plumbers and contractors
4. transport
5. agriculture and agri-food
