FL Lt. Gov. Collins blames Newsom for deaths caused by illegal immigrants

Florida Lt. Gov. Jay Collins Blames California Governor Gavin Newsom for Fatal Crash

Florida Lt. Gov. Jay Collins has placed the blame for a tragic accident that claimed the lives of three Floridians on California Governor Gavin Newsom. The incident occurred when an illegal immigrant trucker, who had obtained a commercial driver’s license (CDL) in California, made an illegal U-turn on Florida’s Turnpike and collided with a van.

Collins, who is on a visit to California, stated that his trip is not business as usual as he prepares to return to Tallahassee with Indian national Harjinder Singh. He accused Newsom of being responsible for systemic issues, particularly regarding illegal immigration, that ultimately led to the fatal crash in St. Lucie County on August 12.

“The lives of three Floridians were cut short because of Gavin Newsom, because of California’s failed policies. We are fed up with this situation,” Collins declared.

According to Collins, Singh illegally crossed the border, obtained a CDL in California, and was unable to answer the majority of questions posed by Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) due to his English language limitations following the tragic accident.

“The perpetrator fled back to California because he knew that the state’s policies would protect him,” Collins stated.

Collins highlighted the dangers posed by illegal immigrants and questioned how many more lives need to be lost due to Newsom’s policies. He criticized Newsom for prioritizing social media over the safety and well-being of American citizens.

In response, Newsom’s office fired back on social media, accusing Florida of letting a murder suspect go free and criticizing Collins for staging a photo op to pick him up. The exchange between the two officials escalated with Newsom’s account mocking Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and referring to him as “Meatball Ron.”

Despite being out of his element in California, Collins remained resolute in his mission to address the tragic consequences of illegal immigration. He emphasized the need for strong leadership and defended his unconventional approach to politics.

As the controversy continues to unfold, the clash between Florida and California’s policies on immigration and law enforcement remains a contentious issue. The tragic loss of life in this incident serves as a stark reminder of the complex challenges faced by officials on both sides of the debate.
