Florida man outruns troopers in Dalmatian onesie
A Florida man, identified as Dylan Keith Devereaux, found himself in hot water after a wild chase with authorities on Jan. 27, all while sporting a Dalmatian onesie. The bizarre incident led to Devereaux facing a laundry list of charges, as detailed in court records.
According to reports, the 36-year-old Devereaux was charged with offenses including fleeing to elude, reckless driving, leaving the scene involving property damage, battery on a law enforcement officer, assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, resisting an officer without violence, depriving a law enforcement officer of equipment, drug equipment possession, possession of a new legend drug, possession of methamphetamine, and petit larceny.
The chaotic event unfolded just after midnight when Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers attempted to pull over Devereaux for his reckless driving at high speeds. However, Devereaux had other plans and chose to evade the authorities.
The pursuit came to a crashing halt when Devereaux collided with a tree and attempted to flee on foot.
