Former Harris 2024 advisor sends warning to Democrats in audience for Trump speech

Former Harris 2024 senior advisor Ian Sams has issued a stern warning to Democrats ahead of President Trump’s speech to a joint session of Congress. In a tweet posted on X, Sams urged Democrats not to disrupt Trump’s speech with props or other disruptive behavior.

According to an Axios report, some Democrats were considering bringing props to Trump’s speech, including anti-Trump signs, egg cartons to highlight the rising costs of eggs, pocket Constitutions to protest, or hand clappers. However, Sams cautioned against such actions, emphasizing the need for Democrats to maintain decorum during the event.

The White House has downplayed reports of potential disruptions, with press secretary Karoline Leavitt stating that Trump is prepared for any antics from the Democrats. Leavitt dismissed the possibility of Democrats causing a scene, suggesting that it would not be surprising if they behaved childishly.

In addition to potential props, Axios reported that some Democrats may even walk out of the speech if they find Trump’s comments offensive. Despite the potential for tension, White House officials have outlined the main themes of Trump’s speech, titled “The Renewal of the American Dream,” which will focus on accomplishments from his second term, economic policies, border security funding, and global peace initiatives.

As anticipation builds for Trump’s address to Congress, it remains to be seen how Democrats will react and whether they will heed Sams’ warning to avoid disruptive behavior. Stay tuned for live coverage of Trump’s speech on Fox News to witness how the evening unfolds.
