Former NFL star Pacman Jones arrested for assaulting officer in Kentucky

Former NFL star cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones found himself in trouble with the law yet again, as he was arrested in Kentucky early Saturday morning for allegedly assaulting a police officer. The 41-year-old was also charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct, according to records from the Kenton County Jail.

The incident reportedly took place in Covington, Kentucky, where Jones allegedly assaulted a police officer. The exact circumstances that led to the altercation remain unknown at this time.

This is not the first time Jones has faced legal issues this year. Just a few months ago, he was involved in a similar incident at the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight in Arlington, Texas. During that incident, Jones was charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer at a hotel near AT&T Stadium.

In 2023, Jones was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, and terroristic threatening at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. This incident stemmed from an argument with an airline employee over USB ports near his seat on a flight. Jones ultimately pled guilty to disorderly conduct, while the other charges were dropped.

Despite his troubles off the field, Jones had a successful career in the NFL, playing for teams like the Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee Titans, Dallas Cowboys, and Denver Broncos. He was a one-time All-Pro and Pro Bowler but also faced suspensions from the league for violating the NFL’s conduct policy.

It remains to be seen how this latest legal issue will impact Jones’ future, but it is clear that he has had a tumultuous history with the law. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
