Former PC admits three misconduct costs

A former police officer in West Yorkshire has found guilty of three counts of misconduct in a public office.

Jenade Yamin, 30, admitted the violations to the Bradford Crown Court on Tuesday.

He denied another 10 counts of misconduct in a public office, which is said to take place between November 2019 and May 2022 while working in Halifax.

Yamin, from Branksome Grove, in Shipley, was released on bail prior to his trial, which is planned for 10 August 2026.

The court heard the three charges he had admitted with regard to allowing and facilitating unauthorized access to a police computer and sharing police information with another.

The further charges include a statement he had offered to deliver the Batins of the police in May 2022.

Mr. Yamin resigned from the power in 2023.
