G7 leaders release 6 joint statements, addressing wildfires, AI, critical minerals — but not Ukraine

Custom cocktails inspired by G7 countries and leaders

At the recent G7 summit, world leaders were treated to a special menu of custom cocktails at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge’s Blacktail Bar. This unique eight-cocktail menu was designed to represent each G7 nation, as well as a collective cocktail for the group as a whole.

While the cocktails were initially created for the G7 leaders, they will soon be available to the public as well. Over the summer, different cocktails from the menu will be rolled out for guests to enjoy.

The first cocktail on the menu is the Canadian-inspired Cabane à Sucre, also known as the Carney. This maple-forward old fashioned features smoked ice, Canadian bitters, and maple taffy. Guests can choose from a 45-year-old whiskey from the Canadian Club Chronicles for $65 or a 15-year sherry cask from the Canadian Club Invitation series for $25.

Next up is La Fille En Rose, a French-inspired floral martini. This elegant cocktail features rose-infused Grey Goose vodka, St. Germain elderflower liqueur, yellow chartreuse, and pomegranate cocktail air, all available for $25.

While there is no specific cocktail inspired by U.S. President Donald Trump, organizers were prepared with a non-alcoholic option, the aloha colada in a pineapple cup. Unfortunately, this drink did not make an appearance at the summit.

The American-inspired cocktail on the menu is the Graceland, a unique blend of bacon-washed 12-year Crown Royal Reserve whisky, Revel Stoke peanut butter whisky, Giffard Banane du Bresil liqueur, toasted breadcrumbs, and fresh smoke. Guests can enjoy a taste of Graceland for $22.
