Gabbard said Iran was not building nukes months before Israel strikes

President Donald Trump has demanded “unconditional surrender” from Iran as tensions escalate between the two countries. In a recent statement, Trump made it clear that he believes Iran is very close to building a nuclear weapon and that he will not tolerate such a threat.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, however, has previously dismissed concerns about Iran building a nuclear weapon during her testimony before the Senate. Despite this, Trump has made it clear that he does not care about Gabbard’s previous statements and stands firm in his belief that Iran is on the brink of developing a nuclear weapon.
The White House has emphasized that Trump and Gabbard are closely aligned on the issue of Iran, despite any apparent differences in their previous statements. A senior U.S. intelligence official has confirmed that there is no discrepancy between the intelligence received by Israel and the United States regarding Iran’s uranium enrichment program.
In response to the escalating tensions, Israel launched preemptive strikes on Iran, targeting the country’s nuclear and missile infrastructure. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu justified the strikes as necessary to “roll back the Iranian threat to Israel’s very survival.” The U.S. Central Command chief, Gen. Michael Kurilla, has warned that Iran has the materials to build a nuclear weapon within a short span of time.
As the conflict between Israel and Iran intensifies, Trump has urged Iran to make a deal on its nuclear program. However, Iran has pulled out of ongoing talks with the U.S., further escalating tensions in the region. Trump has declared that the U.S. now has “complete and total control of the skies over Iran” and has identified the location of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.
The situation in the Middle East remains volatile as both sides stand firm in their positions. Trump’s demand for “unconditional surrender” from Iran sets the stage for a potentially dangerous confrontation between the two countries. The world watches closely as the situation unfolds, hoping for a peaceful resolution to the escalating tensions.
