The group believes that by focusing on issues such as taxes, crime, and education through digital ad campaigns, Republicans can capitalize on Democrat’s legislative shortcomings and avoid being linked to federal dysfunction.
With President Trump set to return to the White House, Democrats are expected to ramp up their efforts to gain unchecked momentum in these states. The RSLC’s strategy aims to counter this by reaching out to low-propensity Republican voters and continuing robust absentee ballot and early voting initiatives. The group plans to build on this success in House Districts 3, 8, 11, and 30 in 2025. By making substantial investments in both states, the RSLC aims to prevent Democrats from gaining the momentum needed to pose a serious challenge in 2026.
