GOP senators say Harris should testify on Biden cognitive decline probe

Former President Joe Biden’s administration faced scrutiny this week as the 11th member appeared before the House Oversight Committee. The question on everyone’s mind now is whether former Vice President Kamala Harris should testify next.
Senator Roger Marshall, R-Kan., believes that Harris should be questioned behind closed doors to determine what she knows and is willing to share. House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, R-Ky., is leading the investigation into the alleged cover-up of Biden’s cognitive decline and his use of the autopen during his presidency.
Comer hinted on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” that the odds of Harris receiving a subpoena to testify before the committee are high. While Marshall supports Harris testifying, he believes that her testimony is not necessary to reveal what he already knew as a physician – that Biden had a neurodegenerative disease.
As a former physician with over 25 years of experience, Marshall pointed out Biden’s fixed face, shuffled walk, monotone voice, and malingering thought processes as symptoms of his condition. He expressed concern that Biden’s weaknesses turned into national security threats during his presidency, citing incidents such as the Afghan withdrawal, Russian invasion of Ukraine, and attacks on Israel.
While Republicans push for transparency, Senator Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., prioritizes current challenges like the economy, inflation, and the impact of Trump’s tariff policies. On the other hand, Senator John Hoeven, R-N.D., emphasizes the importance of accountability and transparency for administrations, stating that Americans always want more information.
Fox News Digital reached out to both Biden and Harris for comment but has not received a response. The ongoing debate over Harris’s potential testimony continues to stir controversy in Washington.
