AMHERST, NS — A New Brunswick man is facing numerous charges after a traffic stop by the Amherst Police Department Friday resulted in the seizure of a stolen license plate, guns, scales, cash, drugs and drug paraphernalia.
According to a press release from the Amherst Police Department, the check was conducted by members of the street crime unit and patrol officers.
Martin Jonathan Rowe, 33, from Westcock has been charged with three counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and one count of possession of stolen property. acquired by crime.
“The case is still under investigation and could lead to further charges,” the press release said.
Rowe was held overnight and remanded on Saturday. He is expected to appear in Amherst county court on Monday.
