Heinous criminal immigrants arrested by DHS as agency faces criticism
Department of Homeland Security Continues Crackdown on Criminal Illegal Aliens

The Department of Homeland Security has denounced pro-sanctuary politicians for spreading misinformation about alleged gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia while the agency carries out its arrests of criminal illegal aliens, including individuals convicted of heinous crimes such as forced sodomy, injury of a child, and sexual assault of a child.
In a statement provided to Fox News Digital, DHS stated, “While Sanctuary politicians and activists were circulating the false narrative of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a gang member, human trafficker, child predator, and domestic abuser, ICE was actively apprehending the most dangerous offenders.”
One of the individuals arrested by DHS is Arturo Lopez-Ramirez, a Mexican illegal immigrant convicted of forcible sodomy in Alameda County, California.
Another arrestee, Julio-Cesar Lopez-Rivera, a Mexican national, was found guilty of child injury in Dallas County, Texas.

In a separate incident in Texas, Darlin Josue Martinez-Espinoza, a Honduran illegal immigrant, was arrested for aggravated sexual assault of a child, indecency with a child, and drunk driving in Austin.
Furthermore, in Queens, New York, DHS apprehended Edgar Stiven Rivera-Villanueva, a Honduran illegal alien convicted of attempted gang assault.
Salvador Hernandez-Aguilar, another illegal immigrant from Mexico, was taken into custody after being found guilty of multiple counts of motor vehicle theft and resisting arrest in Middlesex County, New Jersey.
DHS highlighted these five criminal illegal aliens as some of the most dangerous individuals arrested in just one day as part of its efforts to combat illegal immigrant crime.

The agency reiterated, “From Texas to New York to California, ICE officers are removing the most dangerous violent offenders from our communities and sending a strong message: America will not harbor criminal illegal aliens any longer.”
A senior DHS official told Fox News Digital in an email, “In just one day, ICE officers nationwide apprehended illegal aliens with convictions for child sexual assault, sodomy, auto theft, and other barbaric crimes.”
The official also stated, “President Trump empowered ICE law enforcement to target vile criminals terrorizing American neighborhoods right from the beginning. While sanctuary politicians and the media were spreading a FALSE narrative about Kilmar Abrego Garcia, our courageous ICE officers were arresting the worst of the worst.”
This crackdown comes amid Democratic leaders’ condemnation of DHS’s arrest of Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national, and their efforts to deport him to Uganda. A federal judge temporarily halted the deportation on Monday.

Abrego Garcia was deported to El Salvador earlier this year but returned to the U.S. to face charges related to human trafficking. DHS has alleged that Abrego Garcia is affiliated with the MS-13 gang and has a history of domestic violence, leading the agency to deem him a “public safety threat.”
Chris Newman, an attorney representing Abrego Garcia’s family, refuted these claims, stating, “None of those allegations are true, unequivocally.”
Newman added, “The issue here is that the administration is attempting to litigate this case through the media rather than through the legal system.”
DHS criticized “sanctuary politicians” for siding with an MS-13 gang member over the safety of American citizens, emphasizing that President Trump and Secretary Kristi Noem are committed to preventing Abrego Garcia, an MS-13 gang member, human trafficker, domestic abuser, and child predator, from causing harm to American communities.
