Henry Winkler Joins Hollywood Stars Filming in Winnipeg
One of television’s most beloved actors, Henry Winkler, has recently made his way to Winnipeg to join the cast of the upcoming film Normal. Known for his iconic role as “The Fonz” on Happy Days and his Emmy-winning performance in Barry, Winkler’s presence in the Manitoba province has been making waves.
Winkler, who plays the mayor of a town called Normal in the action-packed film centered around a bank robbery, has been actively sharing his Winnipeg adventures on social media. His posts have garnered attention, with one expressing his happiness in the city and another showcasing his visit to the Winnipeg Art Gallery – Qaumujaq.
During his stay, Winkler dined at the popular Winnipeg restaurant, Deer and Almond, describing the experience as “out of this world.” This eatery is known for attracting celebrities from afar, adding to Winkler’s memorable trip to the city.
According to a report by Variety, Winkler is not the only star to grace the film Normal. Lena Headey, famous for her role in Game of Thrones, has also been cast in the production alongside Bob Odenkirk, who has returned to Winnipeg for the third time following his work on Nobody and Nobody 2.
