Here’s what happened during Trump’s 23rd week in office
President Donald Trump made headlines this week with his bold actions on the international stage. From launching strikes against Iranian nuclear facilities to attending the NATO summit in the Netherlands, Trump’s leadership was on full display.
The week started with the U.S. launching strikes late Saturday targeting key Iranian nuclear facilities. With more than 125 U.S. aircraft involved in the operation, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine reported the success of the mission. However, a leaked report from the Defense Intelligence Agency raised doubts about the extent of the damage done to Iran’s nuclear program.
