In response to the disturbing animation, Hussain Abdul-Hussain, a research fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD), criticized the Houthi rebels, stating, “These terrorists really cannot tell the difference between delusions and reality.”

Following the release of the animation, President Donald Trump authorized “decisive and powerful” airstrikes against the Houthi terrorists in Yemen. Trump justified the strikes by highlighting the group’s continuous acts of piracy, violence, and terrorism against American and other international vessels.
