Illinois Gov JB Pritzker launches new campaign video on Trump’s 100th day in office

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker’s political team has taken a bold step by launching a new video series on President Donald Trump’s 100th day in office. The series, titled “The Real Cost of Trump’s Cuts,” aims to shed light on the impact of Trump and Elon Musk’s policies on everyday Americans. This move comes amidst speculation that Governor Pritzker is considering a presidential bid in 2028.
According to JB for Governor Senior Political Advisor Mike Ollen, Trump and Musk’s actions are causing immense harm to people’s lives in order to fund tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans. Ollen emphasized the need to hear the stories of Illinoisans who are bearing the brunt of these drastic cuts.
The campaign’s videos will focus on individuals in Illinois who have been negatively affected by the Trump administration’s budget cuts, particularly through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Workers losing their jobs, seniors struggling to access essential services, and families facing childcare challenges are just some of the issues highlighted in the series.
One of the featured individuals in the first video is “Moses,” who lost his national security job due to DOGE’s cuts and is now unemployed, caring for his sick mother without insurance. These personal stories aim to showcase the real-life consequences of Trump and Musk’s policies on ordinary Americans.
As Governor Pritzker’s team ramps up efforts to raise awareness about the impact of federal budget cuts, speculations about his potential 2028 presidential bid continue to swirl. The Governor’s proactive approach to addressing these issues through the video series underscores his commitment to advocating for the well-being of Illinois residents.
The White House has yet to respond to inquiries about the campaign’s videos. However, Governor Pritzker’s team remains steadfast in their mission to amplify the voices of those affected by the policies of the current administration.
