Iranian crown prince calls for global action against Khamenei’s regime

Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi is urging the global community to take action against the oppressive regime in Iran. Speaking at the Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy, Pahlavi painted a grim picture of the Iranian people living under the rule of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, calling them a “nation in chains” and emphasizing the need for change.
Pahlavi, the son of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi who was overthrown in 1979, has been living in exile, unable to return to his homeland. Despite this, he remains dedicated to the cause of liberating Iran from the Islamic Republic regime. In his emotional speech, Pahlavi highlighted the resilience of the Iranian people, who have endured decades of suffering but continue to fight for freedom, justice, and human dignity.
The crown prince outlined a strategy for rebuilding Iran, which includes putting pressure on G20 governments to impose sanctions on the regime while offering support to the Iranian people. He particularly praised Iranian women for their role in the fight against the regime, emphasizing that their struggle goes beyond the issue of forced hijab and is about reclaiming their equality and their country.
Pahlavi also criticized the regime’s use of embassies and cultural centers to target dissidents abroad, citing the case of New York-based Iranian journalist Masih Alinejad, who has been a vocal critic of the regime. He called on President Donald Trump to help facilitate the “Cyrus Accords,” a new agreement aimed at bringing about a free Iran similar to the Abraham Accords in the Middle East.
The Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy, where Pahlavi delivered his speech, provides a platform for dissidents and activists to speak out against human rights abuses globally. Pahlavi’s impassioned plea for international support in the fight against the Iranian regime resonated with the audience, highlighting the ongoing struggle for freedom and democracy in Iran.
