Israeli PM office denies reports that Hamas forwarded list of hostages to release in event of deal

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has refuted claims made by Reuters that Hamas has provided a list of hostages to be released in a potential cease-fire agreement. According to reports, Hamas had allegedly approved a list of 34 hostages that they were willing to release in exchange for a cease-fire deal with Israel. However, Netanyahu’s office stated that Hamas has not yet provided any such list of names.

This development comes shortly after Netanyahu’s recent hospitalization for prostate surgery. The 75-year-old leader was discharged from the hospital in good condition and fully conscious following the procedure. This is not the first time Netanyahu has faced health issues, as he has undergone several medical procedures in the past two years. In March, he underwent hernia surgery, and more recently, he was hospitalized for dehydration and had a pacemaker implanted to regulate his heart rate and rhythm.

Despite his health challenges, Netanyahu has continued to fulfill his duties as Prime Minister of Israel. He recently appeared in the Israeli parliament just days after his surgery, defying doctor’s orders to rest. Additionally, he has been actively involved in testifying in a corruption case against him in Israel, with plans to continue his testimony in the new year.

Netanyahu’s leadership has also been crucial in overseeing military operations in the Middle East, particularly in targeting Iranian terrorists and their proxies. He has been at the forefront of leading the IDF on multiple fronts, demonstrating his commitment to national security and stability in the region.

As Netanyahu navigates both health challenges and political responsibilities, his dedication to serving the Israeli people remains unwavering. His resilience in the face of adversity underscores his steadfast leadership and unwavering commitment to the well-being of his country.
